Bus Driver
CasualJoin our team of drivers and move Perth forward. Carry out charter services safely and on time, perform pre-start inspections, plan routes, and communicate with operations — all while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Duties
- Carry out bus charter services safely and on time
- Perform daily vehicle pre-start inspections
- Familiarise yourself with pickup/drop-off locations and plan routes
- Communicate delays to charter services via the Drivers' Line
- Refuel vehicles and complete cleaning duties as required
- Log vehicle defects and submit lost property records
- Maintain professional communication with customers at all times
Requirements
- Working with Children clearance card (required)
- MR or HR licence and a passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation (required)
Bus Aide
CasualCreate a safe, supportive environment for students on every journey. Aid with vehicle access, manage seatbelt and harness checks, complete attendance records, and be a positive presence on every route.
Key Duties
- Create and maintain a safe environment for all students on the bus
- Aid with vehicle access and egress for students with mobility restrictions
- Ensure wheelchair restraints and harnesses are appropriately secured
- Manage student behaviour, safety, and comfort in liaison with the driver
- Complete student attendance forms (SARs)
- Report all incidents and hazards using the Incident Report Form
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous manner
Requirements
- Working with Children clearance card (required)
- Senior First Aid Certificate — St John Ambulance or equivalent (required)
HD Mechanic
Full TimeJoin an experienced team in our Welshpool workshop and help keep our fleet of 150+ buses on the road, from routine servicing to engine rebuilds.
Key Duties
- Perform routine A, B, and C services on all vehicle types
- Carry out Road Safety Inspections as required
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults and defects
- Engine rebuilds, disassembly, and component replacement
- Carry out weekly fleet inspections
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers for parts and external labour
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentice technicians
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years as a qualified heavy-duty diesel mechanic (required)
- HR licence or greater (required)
- Experience with buses and coaches (preferred)
- Dual-trade technicians highly regarded (preferred)
- Experience using diagnostics software (preferred)
